Mastering Management - The Financial Times
This is a resource for students and professionals for any business-related subject. Under each subject heading, are a number of resources. The theory and a case study applying the theory in a real-life context are presented together. There are also references to useful reading. Articles from the Financial Times, relevant to each subject, are given as links. Unfortunately, to access most of the information, you need to subscribe. Samples are given free however.

A HRM Class Homepage
This is really a syllabus and list of assignments for a Human Resources class. The most interesting feature from the Human Resources Trainer's point of view, however, is the list of journal sites referenced by students of the class of Fall 1996. The students have listed the journal articles that they found most useful or each topic covered on the course. These are listed as hyperlinks, and the students also give a brief summary of the article, explaining exactly why it was so useful to them. This site saves lots of time, in researching and finding useful journal articles. The browser can see at a glance whether or not the article contains the type of information needed.

This is a site produced by the Personnel Journal, which is updated every day. Features are a 'Tip of the day', Case studies, Question and Answer features, advice on developing a HR career, and regular feature articles. There is a free daily newsletter on issues of interest to HR professionals, on subscription. You can subscribe for a free daily newsletter, sent by e-mail The page also has examples of 'Best Practices', Budget Implications, Policies and Technologies. These can be found in the centre column of the main page. This is a very up-to-date site, useful for keeping abreast of current happenings.
