covers actual performance appraisals in the retail industry but also
looks at training and management competencies and associated systems.

Pocketbook Series, 14 East Street Alresford, Hamshire, SO24 9EE,
retailing at about £8 each, have a huge selection of books which are
specifically aimed at trainers. These are attractively laid out with
plenty of ideas for transparencies and activities for trainers. They
are all currently in print and available in Easons, Hodges Figgis
and Waterstones. They form an essential kit for any trainer. The list
which is updated all the time includes:

information on the subject. It has an air of a personal web site. There
is no 'hard-sell' of products and it is packed full of information.
All aspects of project management are covered. Hidden away in the "What
is Project Management?" page is a link called "Scalable Project Management
Guide". It includes several useful charts for Cost/Quality risk management.
