This is part of the BBC's interactive and extensive web-based information
service. This particular section of it deals with bite-size revision
for the GCSE exams. This is a fun, fully functioning site. The content
includes revision information, model answers to typical questions, overviews
of courses, (this includes all written subjects that are examined.)
and lots of interaction. This site is a must for those who study these
subjects at or below this level, or for those who wish to gain valuable
information about how to design online learning or training material.

This is part of the BBC online services. This division of the BBC site
is concerned with online skills development for adults. Those areas
addressed are Communication and Customer Care skills, Study Skills and
Number Skills. The site offers interactive training with practical exercises.

This is a great site. It is a database related to Education, a wonderful
resource for anyone involved in any area of education. It contains a
virtual library and lesson plans, which are constantly added to. Links:internal
links make navigation easy. A search engine provides information on

Peer Tutoring in Adult Basic and Literacy Education
This site offers a useful step-by-step approach to peer tutoring,
with feedback from adult learners. Links: none. However there

of charge. While not aimed directly at adult educators, the layout of
the sheets gives good guidelines for lesson planning. Check out Mathematics,

two jumps to get to a specific area. Good access to thematic worksheets.

This site has information on Basic Skills and knowledge that adults

This is a good resource, developed with the support of the UK Basic
Skills Agency. There is an online database, with free access. Topics
