This page is hosted by IBEC and gives details of The Training Awareness Campaign (TAC), which is a joint project between IBEC and ICTU. It is recognises that, in the future, competitive advantage will be gained through the knowledge, skills and creativity of the workforce and is an attempt to encourage organisations to be Learning Organisations. Partnership 2000 commits the parties to developing "new approaches to enterprise training with business taking a lead in this priority area of investment". This is a useful example of how Irish industries are embracing the idea of the Learning Organisation, and places it in the context of national policies. There are contact names and addresses for people involved in the project if you want further information.
