Trainers Network National Conference
Friday, 5th November 2010 in the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport

The Conference provided an excellent opportunity for training practitioners, development specialists, organisational consultants, training managers, in-company trainers, stakeholders and those who care about value for money and real workplace learning to be energised and focused.

Conference Aim and Outcomes

The ultimate aim of this event was to enable delegates to go away focused, inspired and energised with a clear action plan to put into place. Training providers need to consider how in-service training can equip staff with the knowledge and skills needed to cope with:-

  • Modern concepts of training, such as learner-centred approaches and the shift to learning outcomes;
  • Technological innovation, new work practices and the changing needs of businesses;
  • Decentralisation processes requiring team work, networking and new management tasks;
  • Raising demands on quality management;
  • Use of Digital Skills, Blended Learning and Technology.
